Surreal, for sure. Had no idea in mind, just started out making the background that ended up being kind of a space-face using the gradient tool once on the main background and then two smaller times as eyes.
The statue is part of a picture that was taken at the Min Son Monastery in Watsonville. And, since she had three fingers displayed, a theme of 3 started to appear.
So, then I used the pen tool to create 3 balloons and an animated figure holding them.
